A Growing Community
This garden has been designed to bring the community together, utilising existing unused space to create a multi-purpose garden that benefits the whole community, and has been created following consultation with local residents who opted for an informal planting style rather than a traditional bedding scheme.
Sustainable, affordable and practical, the garden is inviting, with easy access, and places to sit and socialise and a community noticeboard. The aim is to enhance the local area and reduce crime. The planting scheme has been designed to bring colour to the space throughout the year, and can be maintained by residents and local schoolchildren.
The garden will be installed in Llandaff North Village after the show.
