The Sea Spring Seeds exhibit highlights vegetables suitable for easy gardening, ie vegetables, salads and herbs that can be easily grown in containers by time-stressed adults, children and anyone without a garden. The exhibit also includes an educational aspect, describing the role of the growing point in leafy vegetables; for example, explaining the importance of the growing point and how its position relates to a cut-and-come-again harvesting system and bolting, two sides of the same coin.
