Access
Catering
Most catering facilities are fully accessible, with the exception of the Allium Restaurant which is located on the first floor and has no lift access. Visitors unable to access the Allium Restaurant can call 0844 581 0700 to make an alternative reservation for a three course lunch.
Exhibits and gardens
All marquees are accessible, and all gardens and floral exhibits can be viewed from ground level. Where possible, gardens are adjacent to trackway. Please note, however, that the areas around the gardens are often busy; disabled visitors may wish to consider arriving early or late in the day to avoid peak times.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcomed in all areas.
Carers
Attendants cannot be provided but one companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user, visually impaired visitor or other person whose disability necessitates a carer.
Parking
Orange/blue badge holders may park close to the showground entrance in the Stud Gate car park (Black car park), accessed from the A308 Hampton Court Road. Disabled parking costs £5 per day, and there is a designated disabled entrance. Unfortunately, there is no easy access drop off point due to the geography of the site.
For disabled visitors arriving by coach, a mobility bus operates between the coach park and the showground.
Wheelchairs
Manual and electric wheelchairs are available for loan, but must be reserved in advance. For reservations, call 0845 260 7000 (booking line open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). The closing date for wheelchair bookings is 1 July 2011. As there is limited availability, we cannot guarantee that it will be possible to reserve a wheelchair on the day of your visit, so we advise advance booking. Electric wheelchairs can be hired for a £20 donation to the charity Event Mobility, which provides the service, and manual wheelchairs can be hired for a £10 deposit (the deposit can be returned after the show or donated to Event Mobility to support their work).
