Sweet pea zealot's first Hampton

Roger Parsons will be exhibiting his sweet peas collection for the first time in the Floral Marquee at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.

Roger Parsons, National Collection holder of sweet peas and other Lathyrus, will be exhibiting his prize sweet peas this year for the first time in the Floral Marquee at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.

Roger was recently presented with a Henry Eckford Gold Memorial Medal by the National Sweet Pea Society (NSPS). This is the Society’s highest honour and is rarely awarded, the last time being in 2007. There are now six living medal holders in the world.

Not a stranger to shows, Roger Parsons will be exhibiting with his experience as former show manager and as chairman of the joint RHS/NSPS trials committee. John Bishop, President of NSPS, commented on Roger's 'encyclopaedic knowledge' of sweet peas.
