Silver Gilt medal winner
Current rating 3.8 (32 ratings)
Created on a budget of £10,000, this garden belongs to a young couple living in a Victorian terrace. They want different things from their outside space and so this garden has been designed to satisfy them both!
As they have access through each other’s gardens in the row of terraced houses, a paved seating area offers a place to sit and chat with neighbours passing by. Key features include textural and structural planting, a lawn and a cobbled path leading to a pergola, somewhere to find privacy and sit quietly. Wildlife-friendly planting and a water feature complete this garden of compromise.
Congratulations to A Compromising Situation, the People's Choice winner in the Small Gardens category.
