Awards from the 2013 show

Congratulations to designer Matthew Childs, whose Ecover Garden was awarded a Gold medal and voted Best in the Show Garden category. The Ecover Garden highlighted solutions which aid the recovery of aquatic environments against a backdrop of sustainability.
Best Summer Garden was the Cool Garden, which featured a relaxed plant-filled courtyard, while Best Conceptual Garden was Desolation to Regeneration.
The Low Cost, High Impact gardens were popular with visitors, and the winner was Mid Century Modern with great practical garden features.
Best Exhibit in the Floral Marquee is Fir Trees Pelargonium Nursery, while David Austin Roses were awarded Best Rose Exhibit in the RHS Floral Marquee, and Marshalls Malmaisons were Best Plant Heritage Exhibit. Best Professional Floristry Exhibit was Jane Packer.
Congratulations to A Valley Garden and Four Corners for winning the People's Choice Award 2013 in the Show and Small Gardens categories.
St James C of E Primary School won the World Costume Scarecrow Competition at this year's RHS Hampton Court Palce Flower Show.
More than 2,700 of you voted in the annual school competition and St James C of E Primary School were triumphant (left). Coming second place was Trafalgar Infant School and third place was Northbourne Park School.
Well done to all the 37 schools that took part.
