Go by public transport to the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and avoid the hassle of the roads

Travelling to Hampton Court Palace

We recommend that visitors travel to the show by public transport. To find out more on how to get to the showground by public transport, go to the Transport for London Journey Planner.

Rail

Hampton Court and Kingston stations are approximately 30 minutes from London Waterloo, with frequent trains. The showground is a 15 minute walk or short ferry ride (£2.50 for a single journey) from Hampton Court station, or a 30 minute cruise from Kingston station (£6 single, £7.50 return). Ferry services

Ferry services between the Thames entrance of the show and the park & ridedrop off point at Molesey Lock are operated by Parr Boat Hire (£2.50 for a single journey). For more information including departure times visit www.parrboats.co.uk.

Turk Launches run flower show ferry services on the river from Hampton Court railway station to the Thames Entrance and back (£2.50 for a single journey, £10 for a one week season ticket). Turks also run services from Kingston Bridge (near Kingston Station) to the Thames Entrance and back (£6 single, £7.50 return) and from Richmond to the Thames Entrance and back (£8 single, £9.50 return). Please note that the last sailing to Richmond from Thames Entrance to the show is at 5.45pm Tuesday to Saturday & 4.45pm on Sunday. For more information, visit www.turks.co.uk

Tube & bus

Take the District Line to Richmond tube station, then the R68 bus from Richmond to Hampton Court. Buses 411 from Kingston station, 216 from Staines and 111 from Hounslow also stop close to Hampton Court. For more information on timetables, stops or prices visit the Transport for London website.

Driving directions

From Central London, take the A3 and then the A308. From the M25, use junction 11. On the approach to Hampton Court Palace, please ignore your satellite navigation systems and follow the temporary road signs and instructions from the police.

We recommend using the park & ride facility for car parking, which is located on the A3050, for visitors arriving from the M25 (see below for further details). Parking at the showground is available on the A308 Hampton Court Road.

Parking

We recommend parking at the showground which costs £10 per day at the Stud Gate car park (Black car park) on the A308 Hampton Court Road, and the Hampton Court car park (Green car park) opposite Hampton Court Palace. (bookable in advance by calling 0844 3387526).

There is also a park and ride facility at Apps Court Farm on the A3050 (M25junction 11). Frequent courtesy buses
will run all day between this facility and Hampton Court.

Cycling

Bicycle racks are available at the Thames Entrance.

Coach parking

The coach park is on Hampton Court Green, opposite the Palace, a 20 to 30 minute walk to the showground (which includes crossing a footbridge). Coach parking is free of charge. A mobility bus operates between the coach park on Hampton Green and the showground throughout each day.
