There’s an exciting new look to the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show for 2013 with the introduction of themed zones to create different moods for visitors to enjoy.
The new zones are Grow, Escape and Inspire. They have been planned to help visitors navigate their way more easily through the diverse and exciting range of exhibits.
What’s in the Grow zone?
If you love plants, head for this zone. Beginners and experts will find everything from rare plants to robust and reliable garden performers, as well as experts to guide choices and give expert advice. There are also gardening demonstrations and some of the best gardening equipment suppliers on hand to ensure you’re fully equipped to create your own plant paradise.
Within the Grow zone are;
Floral Marquee – with around 90 top nurseries and plant experts
Plant Village – our informal plant fair featuring specialists
Plant Heritage Marquee – celebrating 35 years of the charity and rare and usual plants
Tradestands – find new sheds, pots irrigation systems and more
Pollinators Garden and Marquee – find out why plant pollinators, like bees, are vital.
Talks and Children’s Marquee – the Talks Theatre will become an interactive children’s zone at the weekend.
What’s in the Escape zone?
Forget the bustle of everyday life and head for the Escape zone. It will be a magnet for the ‘grow your own’ enthusiast, a shopper’s paradise for the stylish home & garden buyer and a mecca for the rose & floristry fanatic.
Theatrical dressing, food and music will be used to create a buzzing atmosphere and provide a wonderful nostalgic vintage feel to the zone.
Within the Escape zone are;
Country Living Magazine Pavilion - 120 artists and crafts people selling stylish products
Rose Marquee – with a vintage theme
Summer Gardens – with edible garden displays
Grow your own and Artisan Food Marquee – regional artisan food producers plus cookery demonstrations
Gardening presenter David Domoney - hosting floral fashion shows plus celebrity guests
Tradestands – packed with lifestyle products
Inspire zone – sponsored by Ecover
Looking for ideas in garden design? Head for the Inspire zone to find show gardens & tradestands with exciting products selling innovative lighting, funky furniture and equipment for outdoor cooking and entertaining.
Within the Inspire zone are;
