RHS Great London Plant Fair
This vibrant celebration of spring with an emphasis on plant sales and the feel of an “up-market plant fair” sees the Lawrence and Lindley Halls bursting with nurseries and tradestands showing their spring wares. The Lindley Hall will feature the RHS Early Daffodil Competition. There will be a full programme of talks on spring flowers, given by the growers themselves. We are also proud to be launching our updated Gardening in the Global Greenhouse report, and visitors can also attend a second programme of talks on how to garden in a changing climate.

On the Hardys Cottage Garden display was Ranunculus ficaria ‘Brazen Child’, which is a seedling from well-known 'Brazen Hussy', said to be more compact growing.
Competitions and displays
Visitors enjoyed a wide range of meticulously grown alpines displayed in the Alpine Garden Society competition, one of several competitions which took place at the fair. In 2014, the Alpine Garden Society will be exhibiting in a new show: RHS London Alpine Garden Show, which has been developed in close consultation with the Alpine Garden Society (AGS). AGS members will be exhibiting and will also be on hand to offer advice at this comprehensive alpine plant fair with a wide range of unusual plants available to buy.
