The RHS Cardiff Flower Show’s School Wheelbarrow Competition has grown from a small seed into a giant success. Thousands of Welsh schoolchildren have sown and grown, planted and painted their very own loved and cherished designs on wheels.

Seventy-three groups of children have poured their hearts and souls into this year’s creations. Familiar but inspirational themes of Welsh Dragons, Castles and Fairies sit shoulder to shoulder with Royal Wedding Cakes, Ecological Ideas and even Impressionist Paintings. It’s one of the wow factors of the show and is sure to keep on growing.
