Sound has long been associated with gardens; however, this garden takes an innovative approach to garden sound installation.

Not only does the planting, inspired by the Floral Labyrinth at the Trentham Estate, create gentle sound as it moves; but hidden within the garden are electronic sensors that add another dimension. Place your hands in the cut-outs in the sound wall to interact with an evolving PC-based sound engine. The sound produced is directly influenced and indeed created by you and the way in which you move!

This interactive, therapeutic and sensory garden will be rebuilt at Trentham after the show for visitors to enjoy.
