This garden is a community space designed to inspire people to work together to improve their local surroundings, benefit their community and make areas of neglected land productive again. There is a fully functional chicken house and an area for vegetables. The main sections of the garden are for relaxation and recreation, allowing members of the community to meet in their communal space and make use of the different parts of the garden.

Calling the Community is a garden that is based on the idea of bringing dead spaces back to life. The focal point is a telephone handset, calling to the community for help and inspiration to transform areas of unused space in towns across the UK.
