It’s our birthday! In 1910 the six towns of Tunstall, Burslem, Hanley, Stoke-upon-Trent, Fenton and Longton were united under one authority called Stoke-on-Trent. This display celebrates the first meeting of the new council 100 years ago with lustrous carpets and cushions, a cascading tablecloth and birthday cake.
