Following last year's hugely popular inaugural event, the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park once again welcomed Ladies’ Day on Thursday 19 July.
Fashion and floristry
A feature-packed day saw floristry and millinery demonstrations, a fashion show by students from the Manchester School of Art at Manchester Metropolitan University and Countryfile presenter Ellie Harrison in conversation.
Kicking off the day was Dennis van Wonderen, who was creating beautiful floral designs to complement and enhance any outfit. He was followed by Suzanne Gill and Rijk Zeman. Award-winning milliner Suzanne is part of a group of new designers who produce their designs in the UK. Rijk has worked in high couture for 25 years; he and Suzanne combined their creations for Ladies' Day.
The MMU fashion show was followed by a millinery show by Fortnum & Mason's Adrian Phillip Howard, who talked about the inspiration behind his designs, before Ellie Harrison took to the stage.
The day was rounded off by a millinery show by Vivien Sheriff, who showcased some of her stunning, distinctive and contemporary designs.
RHS Tatton Park Flower Show will be on from 18 -22 July. Ticket prices range from £19.50-£23 and are on sale now. Two children under 16 go free with an accompanying full paying adult. Please call 08448 713 079 to book or click the Buy tickets button above.
