The range of floral-themed events and competitions has increased at this year's RHS Flower Show Tatton Park.
The RHS Floral Marquee is one of the places visitors can browse colourful designs from 86 exhibitors from across the UK, including 2011 Gold Medal winners. Hampshire Carnivorous Plants by Matthew Soper, will be there with a display that includes Sarracenia, Nepenthes, Drosera, Pinguicula and Utricularia in a natural setting.
Visitors will be able to watch a series of competitions in action organized by the British Floristry Association (BFA) in the BFA & Floral Design Studio. There will be tips and advice, demonstrations and displays from the new ‘Flights of Fancy’ Floristry College Competition. The BFA will also be hosting ‘have a go’ floristry workshops for all to get involved.
