This year, Harry’s Gold Stars are supporting the work of Kidneys for Life. This is the fundraising arm for the Manchester Institute of Nephrology & Transplantation at the Manchester Royal Infirmary Renal Units. The money raised enables vital research into kidney disease.
The garden is a relaxing and tranquil space. It contains three distinct planting areas representing the perfect match of blood and tissue required for successful kidney transplants. Water flows through a rill to a water feature, representing filtration and the action of a working kidney bringing a new lease of life to the recipient.
