This garden is a modern interpretation of the style of garden found in Finland. Simple lines and a strong planting scheme make this a tranquil haven for relaxation. The central water feature evokes the feeling of a gurgling mountain spring, surrounded by sympathetic planting that softens the harsh lines of the formal and disciplined layout. An angular pergola allows the owner of the garden to view the space whilst enjoying the dappled shade. The materials used in this design have been inspired by the harsh Finnish landscape.
