Making a Splash
This garden has been designed to celebrate Jackie Knight's 20 years in the landscaping business, as well as her 20th wedding anniversary on 17 July. It includes garden features that are favourites with both Jackie and her clients.
Jackie’s trademark sandstone rock and water garden features a stone bridge that crosses a stream, leading to an outdoor entertaining/living area. A wooden summerhouse provides a covered area for relaxation and there is a funky, vivid orange portable wood-fired outdoor hot tub. Stone monoliths add definition. A wildflower lawn leads up the bank to the source of the water feature. From here, the water tumbles over rocks to the central pond. A brightly coloured planting scheme complements the colour of the hot tub.
