This public garden is set within a dense urban landscape and is designed to be used throughout the day and night. The garden comprises three main areas: a streetscape frontage (separated from the garden by trees to give a sense of enclosure); screens to the rear of the garden that form the frontage of the building, tinted to replicate the night time experience; and activity areas. Linear paving materials knit the areas together and draw people to the activity sections.

Two raised planters contain feature planting, shaped to encourage people to gather. White rendered walls highlight the vibrant tones of the plants and create a backdrop for silhouettes at night. The lower planting merges into the activity areas, forming a colourful carpet. A still water feature adds a reflective element.
