Victorian Violas
Specialises in: Hardy perennial violas
A display of hardy perennial violas (individually named cultivars) - some dating back to the Victorian era, together with newer cultivars raised on the nursery. Each individual cultivar displays their flowers with varied growth habit: some produce lax horizontal growth suitable for urns, tubs and containers; some produce fuller searching growth that particularly suits mixed plantings in the herbaceous border or cottage garden; others produce upright firm and erect stems, including delightfully scented cultivars for cutting and small pots; and species types for natural areas, where they can be left to spread and re-seed at their will.
