Tim and Andy Burgess are brothers from Cheshire. They are both professional full-time wood sculptors working mainly with chainsaws to provide bespoke commissions for private customers, public authorities and corporate clients. Sculptures are carved from solid pieces of green wood - typically tree stumps that are still in the ground, or free standing logs. They range from 2 feet high to 20 feet plus. All wood is sourced locally from tree surgeons and local estates, and has either been windblown, damaged or otherwise removed. Sculptures range from wildlife and woodland creatures to figures and sculptural installations. Both traditional and contemporary.
