There are three different categories at BBC Gardeners' World Live:
Show Gardens
Over 36sqm
Show Gardens are the jewels in the crown at BBC Gardeners’ World Live and are incredibly popular with both visitors and the media. Show Gardens can be of any shape (over 36sqm) or theme from traditional to pure futuristic fantasy. Given the freedom of imagination and the individually of sponsors we encourage designers to create dramatic and innovation gardens, which could attract a considerable amount of press coverage.
Small Gardens
36sqm and under (min 25sqm)
Small Gardens at BBC Gardeners’ World Live are an integral and extremely popular part of the show. They provide an excellent opportunity for smaller landscape contractors/architects, colleges/students, nurseries, and garden designers or potential Show Garden exhibitors not currently in a position to stage a full scale Show Garden to introduce or further enhance their profile.
The design for a Small Garden can represent either a complete garden or a self-contained section/element of a larger garden. Designers will find exhibiting an ideal way to demonstrate their skills in a creative and cost-effective way, encouraging visitors to use the services of a professional designer.
Façade Gardens
5m x 5m
Façade Gardens provide the opportunity to construct a garden against a façade backdrop (provided free of charge by the Show Organisers). The façade can be painted, free of charge to the colour required by the exhibitor or can be decorated by the exhibitor at their own cost.
