RHS Floral Celebration at the Inner Temple
Inner Temple, London
11 – 13 September 2008
The Royal Horticultural Society is hosting a special event at the Inner Temple that will transform the gardens and provide a horticultural haven for visitors.
The show celebrates the past, present and future of gardening, featuring a carefully selected range of plant nurseries and specialist exhibitors.
The RHS Floral Celebration at the Inner Temple provides visitors with unique access to the picturesque garden and meeting rooms behind the scenes, where a dedicated exhibition featuring RHS archived materials will reveal the historic links to Inner and Middle Temple.
Other highlights include glorious flower arrangements by the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies in the Temple Church, which was once used in the 2006 feature film The Da Vinci Code.
RHS expert advice will be on hand for all visitors, plus an abundance of ideas and inspiration for every gardener. This unique show is not to be missed and offers a special insight into the ‘pre-Chelsea’ flower shows that were once held at Inner Temple.
The RHS hasn't been at the Inner Temple for almost 90 years. From 1888 to 1911 it held 24 flower shows in the grounds of Inner Temple, before moving to the Royal Hospital where Chelsea was born in 1912.
