RHS November London Flower Show
Report and images: Tim Sandall
The Lawrence Hall was decked with autumn colour and seasonal flowers as a number of exhibitors ended what could be described as a 'difficult year'. This however did not prevent this show from being any less spectacular than others. Visitors were treated to a high standard of displays ranging from trees, shrubs, grasses, cut flowers and succulents. There was also a botanical art competition, an apple competition and a superb range of cut material in the ornamental plant competition, as well as a seasonal flower arrangement staged by NAFAS. Visitors had plenty to enjoy at this show and those who braved the colder weather must have felt it very worth while. The judges awarded three Gold Medals for displays of trees and shrubs, cyclamen and topiary.

This perfect example of Cyclamen F1 hybrid 'Miracle Salmon' helped Potash Nurseries from Suffolk to win a Gold Medal for its display of Cyclamen cultivar

Bluebell Arboretum & Nursery from Ashby de la Zouch won a Gold Medal for its exhibit of trees and shrubs

Topiary Arts from Middlesex was awarded a Gold Medal for an exhibit of topiary
