Travelling to the show
Cars
The flower show will be signposted on all major roads. On the approach to Tatton Park, please ignore your satellite navigation systems and follow the temporary road signs and instructions from the police.
Parking
There is ample parking within the grounds of Tatton Park, free of charge.
You will be directed to an appropriate car park on arrival. All car parks are open from 8am, and close one hour after the show. Shuttle buses, some with wheelchair access, are available where appropriate to assist in transportation to the entrances.
Parking on the roads around the showground is strictly prohibited.
Rail
Trains run between Manchester, Piccadilly and Knutsford (approx. 40 minutes).

Metrolink
There is also a frequent Metrolink service between Manchester Piccadilly and Altrincham (approx. 30 minutes).

Courtesy bus
Services operate daily to the showground from Altrincham station and from the Knutsford Gate entrance to the Tatton Park estate (10 minutes’ walk from Knutsford Station) from 8.30am to 7.30pm (Sunday 8.30am to 6pm).
Cycling
Bicycle racks will be available near the entrances to the show.
Coaches
The coach park will be clearly signposted from the A556, and is free of charge.
Disabled visitors
Orange/blue badge holders will be directed to reserved sections of the showground car parks.
Manual and electric wheelchairs are available for loan, but must be reserved in advance. For information please call 0845 260 7000 from 5 January 2009. Limited availability. Closing date for booking, 17 July 2009.
Attendants cannot be provided but one companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user, visually impaired visitor or other person whose disability necessitates a carer.
Catering
There is a wide range of catering at the show. To reserve a table in the Tatton Brasserie for the day of your visit, call 0845 260 7000 from 3 November 2008 during office hours (booking line closes two days before relevant show day). Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Facilities
Bank, cloakroom, left luggage, plant crèche, pharmacy, and children’s crèche (2-9 years old, maximum stay two hours, first come first served basis) are available within the showground.
Catalogue information
Catalogues cost £3.50 (plus £1.40 p&p in advance). Catalogues can be ordered in advance by calling 0844 209 0353, when buying your tickets online or bought on the day. The last day for ordering catalogues in advance is 24 June 2009.
Please note that catalogues will be posted first class during the week before the show.

The showground
No animals admitted to the show, except for registered guide or assistance dogs.
Please note that this is a temporary, outdoor event on open parkland and is subject to varying weather and ground conditions. Although some temporary trackway is laid, much of the event is on open ground and care must be taken. We therefore advise that you check the weather forecast for the day of your visit, consider the nature of the event and the effects of any inclement weather on surface conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. In extreme weather conditions, access may be restricted in the interest of safety.
Visitors will be subject to security searches.
