RHS Online: Gardening for All

The Royal Horticultural Society hosted a special event at the Inner Temple that transformed the gardens and provided a horticultural spectacle in the heart of London.

The show celebrated the return of the RHS to the Inner Temple after more than 90 years, where 24 flower shows were held between 1888 and 1911. The event featured a carefully selected range of plant nurseries and specialist exhibitors, as well as a range of historical displays from the archives of both the RHS Picture Library and the Inner Temple.

Photo of the Inner temple grounds City balconies also got a make-over as a range of balcony garden designs were displayed to inspire those with small spaces. Visitors to the show also explored the Temple Church, which was once used in the film The Da Vinci Code. Glorious flower arrangements by the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies filled the church during the event.
