Regular events and visits to both local gardens and to some further a field are arranged and it is a chance to meet up with other like-minded people.

The Friends have been able to provide very welcome funds for specific items in the Garden through their activities and membership fee (£5 per household). Some Friends also lead general interest guided walks for pre-booked groups.

Friends receive a quarterly newsletter called ‘Streamside’ which gives news and event details.
