Chrysanthemum Lilac Eleonora

Carnation and Pinks Sub-committee

Jointly constituted with the British National Carnation Society, theSub-committee is responsible for judging carnations and pinks at RHS flower shows, and for selecting and assessing plants for trial.

Chrysanthemum Sub-committee

The Sub-committee is responsible for selecting chrysanthemum plants for trial and assessment for the Award of Garden Merit, and for recommending awards to cut chrysanthemum flowers submitted to it.

Daffodil and Tulip Committee

Responsible for judging exhibits of daffodils and tulips at RHS flower shows, the Committee also selects and judges daffodils and tulips for trial and assessment for the Award of Garden Merit.

Dahlia Sub-committee

Constituted jointly with the National Dahlia Society, the Sub-committee advises on all matters regarding dahlias, judging exhibits at RHS and other flower shows and selecting dahlias for trial and assessment.

Delphinium Sub-committee

Jointly constituted with the Delphinium Society, the Sub-committee is responsible of judging delphinium exhibition plants at RHS flower shows, along with selecting cultivars for trial and assessment for the Award of Garden Merit.

Fruit, Vegetable & Herb Committee

Responsible for judging exhibits of fruit, vegetables and herbs shown at RHS flower shows, the Committee also selects and judges fruit and vegetables trials for the Award of Garden Merit.

Herbaceous Plant Committee (previously Floral A)

The Committee judges all exhibits at RHS flower shows of hardy herbaceous and tender perennials and annuals for garden cultivation, along with selection and judging of plants for trial and assessment.

Iris Sub-committee

Jointly constituted with the British Iris Society, the Sub-committee judges individual exhibits of irises at RHS flower shows and is responsible for selecting and judging irises for trial.

Orchid Committee

The Committee is a source of expertise and advice for the RHS on all matters regarding orchids, it judges exhibits of orchids at RHS flower shows, and at meetings held at other shows.

Rhododendron & Camellia Sub-committee

The Sub-committee is responsible for judging individual exhibits of rhododendrons and camellias at RHS flower shows, and for selecting such plants for trial and assessment for the Award of Garden Merit.

Rock Garden Plant Committee

The Committee is jointly constituted with the Alpine Garden Society and Scottish Rock Garden Club and judges individual rock garden and alpine house plant exhibits at RHS flower shows; other exhibits are judged by an associated committee. The Committee also considers and judges plants for trial and assessment for the Award of Garden Merit.

Sweet Pea Sub-committee

Jointly constituted with the National Sweet Pea Society, the Sub-committee is responsible for selecting and judging sweet pea cultivar trials.

Tender Ornamental Plant Committee
(previously Floral C)

The committee is the source of expertise on all matters regarding plants normally grown under protection, other than those for the alpine house, judging these plants at RHS flower shows and recommending them for trial and assessment for the Award of Garden Merit.

Woody Plant Committee (previously Floral B)

The Committee is the source of expertise, and judges for RHS flower shows, for hardy trees and shrubs, including old hybrid and species roses. Along with the Rhododendron and Camellia Sub-committee it selects and judges woody ornamental plants for trial and assessment.
