Lawrence Hall, London

Parking There are no designated disabled parking bays outside the hall. Parking is metered, and the following rules from Westminster City Council apply:
1. Blue Badge holders can park for one extra hour after making an initial payment for parking. The Blue Badge bay time limits are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 6.30pm. Usually for a maximum of four hours, please check the time plate. If you park in a rank of bays for four hours, you can only return after one hour. If you need to park for longer than the maximum stay, you can move the vehicle to a separate rank of bays.

2. White Badge Holders: Disabled Westminster residents and workers can apply for a White Badge. White Badge holders can park in:
• Resident bays.
• Meter and pay & display bays free of charge for an unlimited time.
• Out of order meter bays.

Drop-Off Point Visitors can be dropped off outside the building; there is then a ramp to the rear of the hall from Elverton Street.
Wheelchairs Three manual wheelchairs are available for use by clients. Please request in advance from the Sales Office on 0845 370 4606.
Toilets The facilities for ladies are located on the second floor of the Conference Centre and gentlemen on the third floor. Both have been fully adapted for wheelchair access and are accessible by lift.
Carers Attendants cannot be provided, but one companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user, visually impaired visitor or other person whose disability necessitates a carer.
Assistance Dogs Welcomed in all areas. Halls staff should be contacted in person on arrival if you have special concerns or requirements.
Access to buildings Ramps are provided for wheelchair access at both the Lawrence Hall main entrance doors and to the rear of the hall on Elverton Street. Oversized wheelchairs and electronic scooter users should make themselves known to a member of reception staff prior to entering the building. A bell is located at the bottom of the steps to the Conference Centre should you wish to alert the attention of one of our members of staff.
A 'stairmate' (a portable wheelchair stair lift) is available for use for safe climbing and descent of the Lawrence Hall stairs. Wherever the carrier is used, its controls and inherent safety enable it to be operated by one Conference member of staff all of whom have accredited/certified training.
