Water-efficient Garden Design Conference 2006

Angus WhiteAngus White

Angus White started his very successful nursery Architectural Plants in 1990, as he says 'in a fit of pique' at the lack of availability of a whole host of exotic and striking evergreen plants. Many of these are very drought tolerant, that he knew to be perfectly hardy in Sussex because he had seen them growing in gardens such as Nymans, Wakehurst Place, Highdown and Borde Hill. He now has two sites, a full catalogue, and an excellent book on the subject written by his colleague Christine Shaw.
