Peter Holman
Peter Holman has had a long and distinguished career in parks, where he started in Croydon as an apprentice, later becoming Head of Parks & Open Spaces for the London Borough of Hackney. He has worked in the nursery sector, the garden retail sector, and ran his own landscape and arboriculture business for several years. He has won several medals at RHS flower shows, as well as many other prizes and awards, and has been involved with the Britain In Bloom, Green Flag, Green Pennant and Entente Florale awards as both judge and official. He currently runs a consultancy firm advising gardeners and local authorities on horticultural practice, and directs a software company developing seasonal bedding display design software.
