As water is a precious resource, we have gathered together a wealth of information to help you make the most of the water you use in the garden.

Watering plants and gardens needs to be done correctly and accurately for best results and to prevent water wastage; householders whose property is fitted with a water meter want to ensure their bills are as low as possible; hosepipe bans and other restrictions always occur in the UK when water is in short supply. All these factors make efficient and effective watering and water use in the garden of prime importance.

Careful, considered use of a hose with a sprayer can give good results in the garden - but they can't be used during hosepipe restrictionsWater - using, saving and collecting
