Nottingham received a Gold Award

 

Nottingham in Bloom is a year round campaign which makes the city a cleaner and greener place to live, work and visit. The City Council’s policies are designed to drive forward improvements to the quality of life and make the environment better for all.

 

These have been ably demonstrated by well-supported, significant partnership arrangements, involving individuals of all ages, communities, the universities and businesses which provide strong financial support and an exceptional level of volunteering. The very visible and impressive floral and sustainable planting displays coupled with clean streets tell the visitor that Nottingham is very up and coming in all its aspects.
