Ravenfield received a Gold Award

 

If one is looking for the epitome of village life then perhaps one need look little further than this delightful community in South Yorkshire where residents have joined together with the aim to improve the appearance of their village. Without any focal point excepting the church, the community have used the Bloom as a means of coordinating all village activities encompassing young and old. The environment, wildlife, and local history all feature strongly in this campaign. The colourful horticultural presentation throughout the village is of an exceptionally high standard and is clearly visible to those driving through.
