Grouville is an idyllic Parish with some residential areas and a heartland of countryside on the southeast coast of Jersey.
The south coast, with a 12m (40ft) tidal range, is a designated Ramsar site and boasts a wetland area that attracts 112 different species of resident and migrating birds as well as being an important habitat for other wildlife.
Grouville’s Parochial system is based on a legacy from feudal times and it has tapped into this spirit of community service to deliver benefit to the Parish’s environment and surroundings. It has involved the local school, businesses, Parish associations, churches as well as local farms, who farm to the very highest environmental standards.
