2007 RHS Britain in Bloom Winner: Large City

Broughshane 2007

Nottingham in Bloom aims to make the city a cleaner and greener place to live, work and visit. The year-round initiative is led by Nottingham City Council, but it also involves a huge variety of partners, community groups, individuals, schools, sponsors and other organisations who are making a real difference to the city’s environment and to their own neighbourhood. There are many opportunities for people to get involved, such as a painting competition for young artists aged three to 16, a garden competition with 14 trophies for individuals, groups and businesses, and a wide variety of community planting and clean-up sessions.
