A contemporary courtyard garden, using modern elements such as stone filled gabions as boundaries. Buff sandstone, reclaimed paving block and timber struts give structure, softened by planting of mature shrubs, grasses and herbaceous plants in bronze and purple.
An area of paving, designed to give the impression of floating in a sea of grasses in gold and silver, contrasts with the planting around the edges of the garden, where large leaved shrubs and herbaceous plants in bronze and purple make bold architectural statements. Grass areas are further accentuated with deep maroon and purple meadow type flowering plants to harmonise with the perimeter planting.
