Great Pavilion
Many nurseries use Chelsea Flower Show as the opportunity to launch and showcase new species and cultivars of plants. The following plants are new and are being launched at Chelsea. The nursery's stand number is given in brackets.

Ashwood Nurseries (E5)
Ashwood is launching Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Little Honey’ - a golden-leaved hydrangea from the United States.

Blooms of Bressingham (B5)
Blooms is launching t wo new coreopsis. Coreopsis ‘Crème Brûlee’ is a new ‘threadleaf’ cultivar with fine, lacy delicate, narrow foliage and large, deep yellow flowers with attractive serrated petals. Coreopsis ‘Limerock Passion’ has lavender-pink coloured flowers all through the summer; it is a sport of Coreopsis ‘Limerock Ruby’.

The nursery is also launching Miscanthus ‘Super Stripe’ - which is meant to
boast more stripes than M. ‘Zebrinus’ and M. ‘Strictus’ - and Tiarella ‘Pink Brushes’ which was
bred for its extended flowering time and is among the longest-blooming cultivars in the genus.
Borneo Exotics (G14)
The nursery is launching Nepenthes ampullaria ‘Harlequin’.
Bowden Hostas (G2)
Bowden is launching ‘Purbeck Mist’ and 'Truscott Marble’; both are exclusive to the nursery.
Broadleigh Gardens (B6)
The new plants are Iris ‘Broadleigh Penny’ - which celebrates the retirement of Mrs Penny Woodhead, who has been with the company since 1972 - and Allium ‘Purple Giant’, a hybrid between A. christophii and A. giganteum.

Cayeux Iris (H4)
The stand features tall bearded irises including the new 'Chelsea Bleu' (left) and 'Feu du Ciel' (right).

David Austin Roses (C4)
David Austin Roses will unveil six new roses including Rosa ‘Alan Titchmarsh’, named after Britain’s favourite gardener. This launch recognises the tremendous hard work Alan has done in getting people in to gardening. The flowers are a pure rich pink, very rounded and very full.




Dibleys Nurseries (D21)
Dibleys is launching Streptocarpus ‘Jaco’s Gem’ and Streptocarpus 'Dragon Seed'.
Downderry Nursery (D14)
The nursery is launching two new plants Lavandula christiana 'Sky' and Lavandula stoechas subsp. stoechas ‘Whero Iti’, a New Zealand-raised plant. The Maori name translates as ‘little red’. The crimson red flowers rise above a neat, compact and erect bush during May and June, and with prudent pruning will flower later in the summer too.
