Our garden at this year’s show is designed to demonstrate that a blend of natural stone, shrubs, herbaceous plants and pinks can be successfully combined to create a charming and colourful urban retreat.
Although this is a front garden, the main purpose of which is to access a small terraced town house, the space should still be used to its full potential, thus enriching and enhancing the owner’s everyday life.
The paving used is from Pavestone, suppliers of natural stone from around the world, screening is supplied by Sunny Screen and the unique terracotta planters are supplied by Apta Pottery. The plants are from Whetman’s own nursery in Devon, and include no less than nine new cultivars of pinks.
