Roses tell the history of the Royal National Rose Society

This year the RNRS stand will feature one rose for each year the Society had been working to ensure roses are always well loved and constantly used in the many types of gardens that people throughout Britain love to visit and to tend. The highly scented stand features roses from 'James Mitchell' - a pink shrub rose launched in 1868, to 'The Fairy' - a climbing pink rose introduced in 1932 and 'Cliff Richard' - introduced in 2004. The stand shows roses that are easy to grow and also has a heady scent that visitors will love.

All the roses have been kindly donated by commercial growers who are supporters of the Royal National Rose Society. Details of the roses on the stand and how to join the Royal National Rose Society and get more help with your roses will be in a leaflet available from the stand.
