This garden was inspired by a chain cube that Alex Hart, garden designer, made for Channel Four’s Great Garden Challenge last year.
Unchained Melody is based on straight lines and uses simple but quality materials. Hardwood decking and lacquered chain obelisks rise out of two pools. Bespoke louvered screening encloses the garden.
Stipa gigantea AGM provides height in the garden and the colours are light and dark, with black and white irises, libertia and aquilega.
The water features and a large ball feature in this garden have been made of chain and then lacquered.
