The stand loosely follows the shape of a Fleur de Lys in the layout of paths and beds with five entrance points around the perimeter for ease of movement and to enhance the panoramic view of the central pavilion.
The nursery is creating a natural garden like exhibit, jam-packed with roses old and new. Shrub roses will huddle together in the beds with nodding blooms of climbers and ramblers adorning the pillars, trellis and the central pavilion. There will be many varieties that are unique to the nursery in this country, those with their own piece of history to tell as well as several rare cultivars. As holders of the NCCPG National Collection of Species Roses, examples are incorporating into the stand.

Pop's Plants -
Auriculas
This display includes around 200 different auriculas from national collections. Some of them are old and many are scarce. Pop’s Plants has tried to get away from the usual Victorian style of display for auriculas. Following the recent increase in interest about the plants, this display aims to bring the plants into the 21st century while still emulating the style of an Auricula Theatre to show off each individual bloom.
Most auriculas finish flowering in early May and as they are alpines they do not respond to being held back. In the past the Salisbury-based nursery has transported plants to Scotland to try and gain an extra week and make sure plants are at the peak of perfection for Chelsea.

Clematis
Plants are grown the previous year, then cold stored until six to eight weeks before the show. Some, such as the summer-flowering plants, are slowly forced into flower from the beginning of the year (January). The biggest challenge is transporting the plants safely from Guernsey to London by ferry without damage.
