Hillier Nurseries sets a New Guinness World Record at RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Hillier Nurseries is a world record breaker, according to Guinness World Records Limited. The famous nursery set a new Guinness World Record at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2005 for winning its 60th consecutive gold medal at the show. The outstanding feat has led to a new Guinness World Record category, ‘Most Consecutive RHS Gold Medals at Chelsea Flower Show’, being introduced by the global leader in world records.
Hillier Nurseries earned its place in the select group of Guinness World Record Holders for producing exhibits of exceptional quality year-on-year since 1939. Some members of the award-winning team have been exhibiting at Chelsea for over 40 years; John Hillier returned for the 46th time in 2005 and Ricky Dorlay has been responsible for growing and preparing plant material since 1955.
Hillier Nurseries will be returning to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2006 and everyone will be watching to see if the famous nursery can beat its own world record and win its 61st consecutive gold medal at the show!
