Many nurseries use the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to showcase their new plant launches for the year. Below are the ones we've been told about.

Hardy Plant Society
Thymus ‘Marjorie’, raised by Margaret Easter and named after her mother. Margaret holds a National Collection of Thymus and is a member of the Hertfordshire Group.

Harkness Roses
Rosa ‘Belmonte’ A pearl-coloured floribunda with a slight citrus fragrance.
Rosa ‘Carris’ A red hybrid tea with a light fragrance. The right to name this rose was donated to BBC Children in Need 2006 as an auction prize.
Rosa ‘Parky’ (left) A white shrub rose in honour of TV presenter Michael Parkinson.
Rosa ‘Henrietta Barnett’ A gold floribunda with a spicy fragrance, fundraising on behalf of Hampstead Garden Suburb Centenary.
Also four new multi-blooms: ‘Harquiz’ (yellow), ‘Harruby’ (dark red), ‘Harping’ (apricot), ‘Harpaint’ (pink, yellow, white eye).
Hillier Nurseries
with fern-like warm chocolate-coloured foliage. Complemented by pink, fluffy flower heads in late summer on mature plants.
A new form of red osier dogwood from North-west USA. Young leaves have a pronounced yellow margin becoming creamy-white with age.
Berberis thunbergii ‘Golden Touch’ A small shrub with bright golden foliage which develops warm pink tints in autumn.
Juncus ‘Curly Gold Strike’ A new form of quirky rush with gold line curls along the spiraling leaves and stems.
Spiraea x vanhouttei ‘Gold Fountain’ An unusual form of Spiraea with golden-yellow scalloped-edged leaves, with clusters of white flowers in summer.
