“Grass is perhaps best known for their superb adaptation to dry sunny situations. My top tip if your planting in really dry arid situations as we’ve shown here on the stand today is that you must have enough moisture in the ground. Although they are dry loving plants, every plant before they are established actually needs a little bit of moisture. So by all means water the ground when they are planted but if you can put a mulch on the top as soon as you’ve finished planting. It retains the moisture in the soil for that little bit longer which can be critical when your trying to get them established.”
