“I come to Chelsea every year. The show actually featured a garden I used to have in Gloucestershire, which was designed by the Alfred Hitchcock scene designer.
“Once you’ve had a beautiful garden you become hooked and it’s very exciting to see it develop in front of your eyes.
“Chelsea is an endless fascination and I always come away with lots of wonderful ideas. I love Diarmuid’s garden, we’ve been drawn back here again and again. A lot of the gardens at this year’s show are very symmetric, but this garden is very soft, it’s a real sensory garden that gets my vote. In fact this is my favourite garden.”
