“Chelsea to me means a day like this with people coming along and asking questions about your garden and your plants and smiling. I haven’t seen the show yet, because when you are making a garden you are very obsessed with your plot.
“Green is my thing. I use green because it’s the most sustainable colour and I wanted to have a garden that looks good all the year round. It’s exciting for me to see other designers using green more this year. There has been a bit of criticism in the past that I’ve been too green, so to see some other people use more of the colour has made me feel more valid.”
