Ringo was delivered to the showground in George Harrison’s red Mini, driven by Damon Hill. The Garden From Life to Life, A Garden for George is a tribute to the life of George Harrison.
Ringo, a keen gardener, spent the day at the show, admiring the gardens. “For me Chelsea means a great day out. It’s exciting to see all the plants and gardens. I’ve just arrived, but the first two gardens I’ve seen so far have been very exciting. The George Harrison garden, of course, but also the Chinese garden. It’s so incredible that they let them dig that deep, they are half way to China!”
