We are delighted to be hosting the Barnstaple Male Voice Choir and their special guests at RHS Garden Rosemoor this summer. The Barnstaple Male Voice Choir has a long and cherished history dating back to 1919 and is celebrating its Centenary in 2019.

The Centenary concert is a major part of the Choir's celebrations. Joining the Choir will be their friends – South Molton Town Band and Rachel Phillips (soprano) and the concert will be compered by David Fitzgerald (from BBC Radio Devon).

In 2011 the Choir visited the Republic of Ireland and sang in the Cork International Music Festival and in 2012 it visited northern France and performed two concerts with the Brittany Male Voice Choir. In May 2015, the Choir visited Barnstaple’s twin town of Susa in Italy where they sang with two local male voice choirs. In 2018, the Choir visited the Auvergne in France where were invited to sing in the Rencontres Internationales de Voix d’Hommes Festival in Châtel-Guyon.
