Window Box & Hanging Basket Competition
This popular and colourful feature, sponsored by Forest, demonstrates the horticultural expertise of 40 RHS Affiliated Societies. Each Society exhibits a hanging basket and a window box which have been designed and planted as a complimentary pair.
The pairs of exhibits are judged for RHS medals and a special award is made to the best combination.
New for 2005: The Competition is now open to the professional sector. We are challenging garden centres and other professionals to help make hanging baskets ‘hot’ and put these traditional horticultural icons on the road to revival.
The design theme is 'Hot, Hot, Hot'!
The garden centres and other professionals will be on display from 5-7 July, the RHS Affiliated Societies from 8-10 July.
